Yoga Offerings

Yoga as a Tool for Self-Care

As I begin my practice, my mind is busy. I think of the things I have to do later, of the things that happened earlier in the day, even about plans coming up months away! But as I ease into the next hour of movement, I notice that still ness and space is created in my typically very active brain. My breathing is softer, easier, and more fluid. As I step off of my mat and into the world, I take with me a small piece of this, a bit of mindfulness, and notice that things are a bit more joyful. That I’m a little more present.

When I practice yoga, there is something special that happens. There is work that happens within, and it cultivates self-care in. away that helps sustain me through challenging times. Because of this, I share these tools with my children, friends, patients and colleagues.

I am currently in my advanced teacher training through Yoga Medicine. I can’t wait to build more offerings that help support the health and wellbeing of my students and community. Reach out with ideas and questions, or possible collaborations!

Warmly,

Tina Maria
