About Osteopathic Medicine

In Osteopathic Medicine, we take a "whole person" approach to medicine. That means we focus on treating the entire person rather than just the symptoms.

Focusing on Preventive Health Care

As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), I work directly with patients to empower them to develop healthy attitudes and lifestyles that don't just fight illness, but help prevent it, too.

DO Physicians practice across the full spectrum of medical specialties and have to go through similarly rigorous training and certification as MD Physicians.

In addition to core science curriculum, DOs learn Osteopathic Manipulation which is a hands-on tool to address many neuromusculoskeletal concerns.
